Ryder Integrated Logistics is in the business of getting the right products to the right place at the right time in the right condition. As a leader in their field, Ryder has the processes and technology to design, operate, and manage custom tailored logistics systems for America's top distribution and manufacturing companies. This has led an increasing number of businesses to outsource their logistics functions.
Program Challenge:
Ryder Integrated Logistics was interested in developing a 276,000 square foot logistics facility next to the MetoKote manufacturing facility. The MetoKote facility provided a finished metal coating for John Deere parts that would be stored and shipped from the proposed Ryder Logistics Hauptly Construction & Equipment Company, was brought in to get the project done within the short time frame that Ryder required.
Solution:
Hauptly Construction quickly recognized that Ryder's preference was to lease the facility. Drawing on their Butler resources, Hauptly added Butler Real Estate to the team. As a leading single-source, build-to-suit for lease developer, Butler Real Estate examined the project requirements. Within a few days, a customized lease was presented to Ryder. Once the proposal was accepted, Butler Real Estate immediately funded the project, land was purchased, and construction started, all within Ryder's accelerated schedule requirements.

With a very tight schedule to work with, Butler Real Estate moved quickly to eliminate the "red tape" normally associated with conventional loans, and assured the customer that their new facility would be ready for occupancy when needed.
