Project Details

Secaucus, New Jersey
87,000 square feet
Wall System: Insulated Metal Panel
End Use: Athletic and Entertainment

The new indoor training facility for the 2008 Super Bowl Champions, the New York Giants, has become a reality. Butler Heavy Structures teamed with a local builder, Hance Construction, Inc., to provide the steel building shell and erection services for the massive project.

The spacious facility has a clearspan of 214′ with a gambrel shaped roof that provides 55′ at the eaves and 80′ at the ridge to accommodate kickoff practice. The building is 407′ long and includes two ancillary areas for additional services. The roof selected for the facility was a Solar White, 22 gauge standing seam metal roof system.

The building walls were clad with a 2.5″-factory-insulated wall system with fine line corrugations. The exclusive Sky-Web fall protection and insulation support system was
also used in the facility.
